It's no secret that Zoey likes to draw and I am one proud mama who thinks she is so talented (I know, I know. I am biased, but how can I not be??) It seems that I'm always looking for better ways to store her artwork. When she was much younger, I used to keep and display her crafts for awhile then throw them out to the recycling box (and got caught by her a few times, oops!!) But now that she's older, she's actually drawing things and she takes great pride in what she's produced. It is her way of expressing herself, and I don't ever want to throw that out. Other than the walls and the fireplace mantle in our house, we've been putting her drawings in a big 3-ring binder, and she likes flipping through them and remembering each and every one.
Zoey likes to put her new drawings at places where I get to see them firsthand (she never forgets to show dad either :) If I'm at work, she will put them by the garage door or on the stairs so I will see them first thing when I walk in the house. If I'm at home sleeping, she will slide the drawings through the bottom of our bedroom door, or just come in and put them on my pillow.
This Monday morning, I woke up to this right next to my face on my pillow...
